Before proceeding with this section, please review our policy regarding candidates with previous convictions. This form pertains to job roles not covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (2013 and 2020). Therefore, you're only asked to provide details about convictions that are not yet spent. There's no need to disclose spent convictions or information regarding 'protected' offenses, as per filtering rules. If uncertain about the status of a conviction or its classification, please refer to our supplementary guidance or contact organizations like NACRO or Unlock for assistance. If you express interest in a role exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act, necessitating the disclosure of spent convictions, we'll request completion of an additional criminal disclosure form. Opting not to fill out this additional form implies a decision against being considered for such roles.
If you've disclosed any convictions, you're welcome to share additional relevant information that could assist us in assessing your suitability for roles with our clients. This might encompass details about the circumstances surrounding the offense, any subsequent work (paid or voluntary), training you've completed, or changes in your situation. Our objective is to present the most qualified candidates to our clients, and having a criminal record does not automatically disqualify you from consideration.
Rest assured, all information provided will be handled with utmost confidentiality. We will consider it only if, in our reasonable judgment, the offense is pertinent to the applied position. Failure to disclose a conviction may result in exclusion from our register if the offense is undisclosed but later comes to our attention. If, during an assignment with a client, we become aware of an undisclosed conviction, we may have a legal obligation to inform the client, potentially leading to the termination of the assignment.
I hereby give my consent to All Square Recruitment Limited to process the following information:
